The November 2005 edition of ‘Units’ magazine had two articles about the necessity providing amenities that residents have come to expect and that these services are no longer optional… “Not only should property managers pursue added revenue through ancillary services.. they must!” The main article, titled, “Adding Revenue with Ancillary Services, by Andrew Smith, states how ancillary services are a fundamental component of property managers in achieving their goals of getting the most out of their communities by attracting and retaining residents, striving for 100% occupancy, reducing expenses and improving the bottom line.
