Biography

Born in Hartford, Connecticut, in the tradition of so many great jazz singers, Toscha's grounding was in the church her main desire is performing jazz music. Toscha has shared the stage with such greats as Nat Adderly, Lou Rawls, Ray Charles, Johnny O’Neal and Diana Ross.

Among her credits are musical training at the Greater Hartford Academy of the Performing Arts and Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Performance from Bethtune-Cookman University in Daytona, Florida. During this time she performed with The Connecticut Opera and the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra.

Strongly influenced by the likes of Diane Reeves, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn, Betty Carter and Stevie Wonder, Ms. Comeaux has two CD’s to her credit…Toscha (2004) & This Could Be Love (2007).
